New Genealogy Software Programs for Mac Users
Mac users now have a couple of new options to consider in the search for genealogy software. The two programs have both been released within the last week. They are iFamily for Tiger 2.2 and MacFamilyTree 4.4.9.
iFamily is touted as a genealogy application for those who want to get the most out of their investment in the latest Apple Mac technology. MacFamilyTree’s official description boasts that it offers all you would expect from a modern genealogy application.
To name a few of their bells and whistles, both programs allow users to create family trees with impressive graphics. Each also offers options to publish family trees online or saving them on CD’s.
iFamily retails for $29.95. MacFamilyTree costs $49 or $20 for the upgrade.
